“We’re in a scrape with flat tire and no way to change it. Called to be towed. The young friendly man who came was very professional and on time. He proceeded immediately to remove flat and installed spare. The price was surprisingly very reasonable! Would recommend to anyone!”

Walked me through why I couldn't get my car out of the ditch (even though I didn't understand I still nodded like I knew what was up) and other questions I had. Even in the pouring rain he performed 200%. 10/10 would get stuck in a ditch again and call H-U T & R Inc.! :)”

“Got stuck in some deep mud while delivering pizzas on Valentine’s Day. It was dark and very rainy. Had called my insurance roadside assistance and had a 3 hour wait and the first towing business they had a contract with didn’t even have the right equipment to get me out!

Called up hooked-up towing and he was there in ~5 minutes. He was very transparent with pricing and processing payment, talked me through everything he was doing to get my car out, and was very kind! Definitely will call them again if I get stuck in mud!!”

“Charlie with Hooked Up Towing was basically my knight in shining armor this evening!

My car broke down on me tonight, while I was in route to Charlotte from Wilmington, NC. As a single mother with two small children, being stranded on the side of HWY 74 in the middle of no-where was a nightmare in itself, but then to top matters off, it was already after 10:00pm and I couldn’t get in touch with ANYONE to tow my car back to my local mechanic in Wilmington. As I was already having an anxiety attack (due to a lot personal stress and my only vehicle breaking down), I was frantically trying to figure out what I was going to do.

Then, along came Charlie. After his number was passed my way, I figured I would be sent straight to a voicemail, but miraculously he answered on the 1st ring. After explaining my situation, we had a laugh or two at my serious-lack-in-knowledge when it comes to my vehicle (and all cars for that matter) and he assured me that it was no problem at all for him to retrieve my poor old car.

Charlie was extremely kind while we were on the phone and was very patient with me as I tried to describe what was going on and where I was. He promptly retrieved my car and got her hauled to my mechanic quicker than I could have ever imagined. He not only called me once he had my car loaded up but he also sent me pictures once he dropped it off at the shop as well!

I CAN NOT express how grateful I am for his services tonight! My babies and I are back home safe and sound and I just can not believe how above and beyond Charlie went to help me this evening! I highly recommend Hooked Up towing and especially Charlie!”

“So we only have one vehicle at the moment and it broke down a few days ago. I called around to get qoutes on towing and was pleasantly surprised. Ive never had positive towing experiences. I was pleasantly surprised. The cost was extremely fair and reasonable. The staff was very friendly and genuinely wanted to help. They had my vehicle towed to my driveway within an hour. Puncuality was on point! Shawn was awesome!! One of my kids actually stepped in a sand spur and he assisted me getting her foot cleaned off lol. Would highly recommend these people!!”

“My boat axle on my boat trailer broke and left me stranded miles from home. Hooked up was able to put the boat and trailer on their roll back and tow the whole business back to my house. Other tow services would not even try tow anything but a car or truck, Hooked Up took on the work where I know others would not. The whole thing was done professionally and safely and the driver was professional and very helpful. I highly recommend Hooked Up!! They are the only tow service out there I would trust with anything I have.”

“Good customer service. Spoke with Trina on the phone. I called in hopes of selling a junk car, which they don't do. Trina gave me recommendations of who might be able to help me with that around town. Always nice to know that helpful people are available when considering who to give your business to.”

“Came and pulled my truck out after hurricane Florence. I think he was the only company working. I wasn't stuck bad but in my yard he pulled me out in 5 minutes only had to wait 30 for him to get to me.

“I was stranded in a brand new Jeep Wrangler that I rented from the Airport in Myrtle Beach. It turned out to be an electrical issue, but I had to use my own AAA to have Hooked-Up towing come out and confirm that it wasn't the battery. The car rental company was going to charge me $70 to do this because I didn't take their road hazard plan. In addition I was told to have the car towed to Hampstead where there would be another car for me to pick up. This was totally false - there was no car waiting because the location in Hampstead is a sister company and they can't just give cars out. Luckily at the urge of Hooked-Up Towing I called to verify before I was stranded there. I had nothing but hassle from my rental company, and if it wasn't for Mark fighting for me the whole time I would have missed my flight. This seems to be an ongoing issue with rental car companies and wasn't the first time that Mark has encountered the issue. I was extremely impressed with how he went above and beyond to help me out o f a total disaster experience with the car rental company. I would highly refer Hooked Up Towing & Recovery.”

“It was moving day and the car wouldn't start, Bradley came and tested the car, he knew it needed a battery, but was worried it was something more so to be nice he installed the battery and put the car up in the U-Haul tow dolly for us in case it wouldn’t start after we loaded the truck. He then proceeded to help us load the truck...for the entire day.....UNTIL WE WERE DONE!!! ( who does that) God sent us an angel that day for sure! We could never repay him for everything he did for us. We just know he was sent to us that day and (pay it forward, we will!) Thank you Bradley for everything you did for us!”

My car was giving him trouble when it came time to take it off the truck but he did not get frustrated or angry. There are so few people these days that continue to offer great customer service under stress and he did. He did an awesome job and I could not thank him enough.”

“Costco messed up the lugs on my wife's car and the motor club sent these guys out to take it to the dealership. The driver arrived quickly and was very courteous to my wife - he even put the groceries in the car while she got the key from Costco. On the ride to Capital Ford he was polite and made small talk to ease my wife's concerns. Great company. Hope I never need a to again, but if I do these are the folks I will call.”

“Mark from Hooked Up Towing is the BEST !! Called him on a busy Saturday morning to rescue may stranded college age daughter and roommates 50 miles north of Wilmington. They were on an interstate with a dead vehicle, and I was calling from Indiana. He didn't know who I was, but Mark made it a priority. Josh got up there very quick, and got the girls off the interstate to safety, and the car towed to the dealer. What more could a dad ask for. I would give them a 6 if I could. Thanks guys. Al”

“I was stuck in a parking lot, leaving my psychiatrist's office no less, when suddenly - while reversing out of the parking space - it stopped. SHORTLY thereafter to my delight i saw the tow truck approaching. I had been in a very anxious and agitated state. Then that all changed. From the moment Bradley stepped out of his tow truck I was showered with reassurance and, to my surprise, he was also able to 'turn my frown upside down'. He was understanding, fast-paced in completing his task, and was SOOOOOOO funny! Had me laughing the entire drive back home! So, 5 stars for the work, and 5 stars for the temporary companionship that lifted my spirits on what could have been a very bad day. Thank you so much Bradley!”
